Truly, #FirstWorldProblems!

Wow...this really is hard to believe. According to a woman in Illinois, Starbucks seems to be shorting their customers on the amount of ice that they put into their cold beverages. And she's so mad about it that she's suing Starbucks for $5 million!

According to TMZ, the reason she is suing is because of the fact that she thinks that customers aren't getting the advertised amount of coffee in each cold drink. For instance, a venti is supposed to be 24 ounces, but the suit says more often you get as little as 14 because "large pieces of ice take up more space."  I'm sorry...any rational person knows that in order for a drink to be cold, it needs to either have ice or be refrigerated. And who has time to wait for a 'to-go' drink to sit in the refrigerator?!
As they should, Starbucks thinks that this lawsuit is a bunch of hooey...

"Our customers understand and expect that ice is an essential component of any 'iced' beverage."

They also say that they will gladly remake any beverage for an unsatisfied customer. And if you've ever been to Starbucks, you know that that statement is true.

What do you think of this woman's lawsuit? Does she have a point or does she just have WAY too much time on her hands??
