Worst Toy Of The Year Nominees

I thought I may be able to get a jump start on my Christmas shopping today.. But I wasn't sure which toys were hot and which ones to stay away from.

Where to go to for advice? The internet, of course!

While surfing around, I stumbled upon a web page called the "Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood." Clicking around their web page, it looks like they are against toys that promote violence or push "branded entertainment."

They call their list of worst toys the TOADY Awards, or Toys Oppressive And Destructive to Young Children.

While I'm not sure I put much stock into their entire page, I found some of their descriptions hilarious!

Nominees include:

Vinci Touchscreen Mobile Learning Tablet. "The $479 may seem like a lot, but that’s a small price to pay for the tranquility that comes when your infant is virtually lobotomized. Make dinner in peace."

I Am T-Pain Mic. "Worried that your seven-year-old is the only kid on the block who doesn't know the words to 'Take Your Shirt Off'? Thank you, T-Pain, for your dedication and service to our children."
