You Caught How Many Beads?

Shreveport's  Krewe  of  Gemini Parade was another stellar Mardi  Gras  event this year.   Even with the rain earlier in the day,  there were still thousands enjoying floats and catching beads and other cool throws.

This year was my 15-year-old daughter Jill's  first time ever to attend a Mardi Gras parade and she loved it.

She and her friends from Carthage,  Texas,  made it home weighted down with strands and strands of beads.   Here's a picture of Jill sporting her Krewe of Gemini Mardi Gras beads.
