After falling into a gorilla enclosure at the Cinncinnatti Zoo, a four-year-old boy was dragged through the water by a silverback gorilla. Although the gorilla appeared to be attempting to protect the boy, eventually zookeepers shot and killed him.

The first question is - where was this little boy's parents? He somehow managed to climb a 3-foot barrier to fall 15 feet into 18 inches of water. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt.

Then the 17-year-old gorilla named Harambe walked over to the little boy and started dragging him through the water. Zookeepers weren't sure if the gorilla was trying to protect the boy or hurt him, but they made the decision to shoot and kill him anyway.

According to ABC news, the zookeepers said that they would make the same decision over again if put in the same situation.

What do you think? Should the zookeepers have killed the gorilla? Was it the right decision? Leave your comments below.
