According to the March 23, 2020 noon update from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), 1,172 (up from 837 on 3/22) total cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Louisiana.
Of Louisiana's 64 parishes, 41 (up from 36 on 3/22) have reported cases. There have been 34 total deaths (up from from 20 on 3/22) reported statewide.
