Following an investigation into a November 8th shooting, two arrests have been made by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office. According to Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator, detectives have arrested two members of a security team who allegedly fired guns during an outdoor event on Gamm Road.

Trometric Humphrey, 45, and Quonmesha Gradney, 27 have been arrested and charged with the illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. The pair allegedly fired guns into the air to break up a fight at a riding event on November 8. The gunfire allegedly caused a violent chain reaction including other people at the event to fire off weapons. The Sheriff's Office is reporting that two people were injured by gunfire during the exchange and that several vehicles were damaged.

Humphrey and Gradney were arrested by the Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division after warrants were obtained by Sheriff’s Detective Matt Purgerson and have since bonded out. A third warrant was also issued for a third suspect, Chadric Dudley, but at this time Dudley has not been arrested. Dudley was also allegedly working as a security guard at the event.

Event organizer Verndell Winn was issued a summons for providing alcohol at the event without a parish permit.

At this time, the investigation into the event and shooting is on-going.
