$20,000 Mega Millions Winner Sold in Louisiana
This has just been a great week to be a winner in Louisiana. We are all probably aware of the "winning" that went down in New Orleans on Monday night. But, were you aware our state was adding to the list of Mega Millions winners after last night's multi-state lottery drawing.
The big money jackpot of the Mega Millions game was not won in last night's drawing. So, the next time they draw numbers in the game on Friday night the anticipated jackpot will be close to $103 million.

The winning ticket that was sold in Louisiana matched four of the white ball numbers, the Mega Ball, and the player had invoked the Megaplier option. That means the ticket holders winnings of $10,000 are multiplied by two for a grand total of $20,000.
Louisiana Lottery officials say the $20,000 winner was sold in Kenner near the New Orleans Airport. The location that sold the winning ticket is identified as the Kenner Airport Chevron which is located on Airline Highway.
If you happened to have stopped in near the New Orleans Airport and may be filled up your car, bought a snack, or picked up a Mega Millions ticket be sure to double-check your numbers. You could have a $20,000 in your pocket, purse, or glove compartment.
