Meet the Stars of the New Movie ’50 to 1′ in Shreveport

Hollywood is coming to Shreveport! The stars of the upcoming film "50 to 1" are visiting the KVKI studio Wednesday, April 2 -- and you could be there!

Todd Lowe ("True Blood"), Christian Kane ("Leverage"), Hugo Perez ("Machete") and filmmaker Jim Wilson ("Dances with Wolves," "The Bodyguard") will all be right here in Shreveport, Louisiana to talk about their new movie, "50 to 1."

All you need to do to meet them is show up. No, really - that's it.

Swing by Townsquare Media Shreveport, located at 6341 Westport Ave., at 7:30 a.m Wednesday morning. You'll see the very large "50 to 1" tour bus parked outside. Don't be shy; come up and say hello. The cast members will be available for pictures and autographs, and to answer questions about the movie.

"50 to 1" is based on a true story of a misfit group of New Mexico cowboys who find themselves on the journey of a lifetime when their crooked-footed racehorse Mine That Bird qualifies for the Kentucky Derby.

The cowboys face a series of mishaps on their way to Churchill Downs, becoming the ultimate underdogs in a final showdown with the world’s racing elite.

The movie opens Friday, April 4.
