If you're making plans to see the holiday lights and decorations this holiday, don't miss this golden opportunity to see some of the best from around the world.  The 2019 Shreveport Bossier Christmas Nativity Celebration promises over 500 nativity scenes from across the globe, all on display in one place.

This Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., you can see how the rest of the world sees the events that Christians celebrate on Christmas.  The event will be free and open to the public at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 200 Carroll Street in Shreveport.

According to the official website, there will be a kids area featuring crafts and activities complete with "period costumes and props."
