If you ever had the privilege of knowing Ray Forcier, you’d know just how awesome a man he was and how humbled he would be to have a rodeo named after him.  It's in Ray's honor that the Willie Waggoner Rodeo Arena in Benton will once again host an awesome rodeo event this weekend.

This Friday and Saturday, September 11th and 12th, make plans to join in all the fun of the 6th annual Ray Forcier Rodeo.

Proceeds will benefit the Benton High School Graduation Celebration. The Benton HS ROTC will be there as well as the Bossier Parish Riding Club who will be handling concessions.

Put on by Ed Jordan and his Rockin J Rodeo Company, this rodeo will feature some of the finest cowboys and cowgirls around and you’ll get to see one of the finest bucking bulls in the country, Toy Soldier, famous from the PBR Finals. The event also boasts trick riders and a calf scramble for the kids.

Tickets are $10 for adults and children’s tickets are $5.
