96.5 KVKI / Susan G Komen ‘Friday In Pink’ Wraps Up – Big Thanks To All

It's was a great day for the 96.5 KVKI "Friday In the Pink" fundraiser at the Shoppes at Bellemead, all to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Erin McCarty kicked off the day bright and early at 6am, starting off the event by introducing the day long auctions, including tickets to see Keith Urban at CenturyLink Center, Disney On Ice tickets, two pair of passes for the Selena Gomez show coming to Dallas and a shopping spree (including hotel stay) at the Allen Outlets Mall in Allen,Texas. Auction winners will be notified on Monday.

Erin was joined at 10am by morning show partner Robert J Wright and then Steve King and Angel a bit later.

Thanks to everyone

The "Friday In Pink" fundraiser wrapped up at 6pm (including the auctions) and had a daylong goal of $25,000. Totals from the twelve hour fundraiser will be available Monday, but in the meantime, thanks to everyone for their help and a big salute to everyone with the Komen Foundation for all their hard work.
