This Friday something really rare will happen. A full moon on a Friday the 13 only happens once every 20 years.

According to Moon Connection, the full moon in September is called a Harvest moon this goes back to Native American tribes' main foods like pumpkins, corn, beans, squash, and rice is ready for picking. The strong light of the Harvest Moon allowed farmers in Europe to work later into the night to harvest crops. Here is an interest9ing fact. The Harvest Moon does not always happen in the month of September.

The Harvest moon is traditional, to the full moon closest to the autumn equinox, which falls during October only once or twice a decade. Sometimes the Harvest moon was called the Corn Moon.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, the last full moon happened nationwide on October 2000 and will not happen again until August of 2049. So regardless of your thoughts on the full moon, ask any nurse, doctor, or teacher and they will tell you that things can get pretty strange during a full moon. And yes for some reason more crimes are committed during a full moon.
