Are You Ready to Play Bunco?

A big Bunco event is coming up this weekend. The Geaux Bunco event is Sunday, February 9th from 1:30-6pm at the American Legion Hall on South Lakeshore Drive.

You are invited to bring some friends and play in this event which is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Here are all the details:

Times: Check-in opens at 12:30. Event will run from 1:30 - 6:00

Location: American Legion, located at 5315 South Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport

Cost: $35 per person ($30 if registered on or before 1/15/14)

Registration: Each player must register either through the online website or the downloadable form. However, if a group wants to participate together we will place you on the same team if you specify on your registration form the other member(s) you want to play with. The teams will be in groups of 12 - but if you have fewer than 12 in your group we will match you with others to make a complete team!

Teams: Once your team is compiled you will need a team name! For those individuals who do not have a complete team, we will send out the information on your other team members once the team is complete. There will be a contest with prizes for teams who dress up (redneck theme is encouraged but not necessary)

Raffle: We will have many nice items to raffle, with all proceeds going to American Heart Association. Each participant will receive free tickets in the packets, with addition tickets available to purchase.

Food/Drinks: We will have snack foods available at the event. There will also be a cash bar!

Age Restrictions: All participants must be 21 or older to participate.

Other Info: Bunco is easy to learn. You do not need to know how to play to participate!!
