Baton Rouge Motorist Drives Into Deep Flood Waters After Allegedly Going Around Barricade

A video posted on the WX Chasing Facebook page shows a compact car being swept away after driving into flood waters in Baton Rouge.

According to the caption, the car drove around a barricade before hitting the deep water and eventually floating away to the point of needing rescue.

As heavy rains continue to fall around South Louisiana, let this be a reminder to respect all barricades and never drive into flood water.
