What are the hottest selling neighborhoods in Shreveport and Bossier City? The folks at the Northwest Louisiana Association of Realtors crunched the numbers for us and we have a list of the top 10 subdivisions in the area.

How Hot is the Local Market?

Redfin reports the Shreveport housing market is somewhat competitive. The average sale price of a home in Shreveport was $169K last month, up 1.9% since last year. The average sale price per square foot in Shreveport is $99, down 1.5% since last year.

Homes will spend, on average, 48 days on market.

• The average homes sell for about 4% below list price and go pending in around 48 days.

Rocket Homes reports the average price for a home in Shreveport Bossier is almost $175,000 dollars or about $104 per square foot. This report says prices are up by about 6% from a year ago.

Keithville: $252,000 dollars

Greenwood $221,000 dollars

Bossier City $204,000 dollars

You will note there's also lots of growth in the Stonewall and Blanchard areas along with Frierson and Greenwood. Most of the hottest selling neighborhoods on this list are in  southeast Shreveport, but we also have several hot neighborhoods in Bossier City, Haughton and Benton.
