Blanchard Music Festival Is On The Way

Blanchard’s Second Annual Music Fest and Benefit is this Saturday from Noon until 10:00 p.m. It's being held at the Blanchard Louisiana Poke Salad Grounds.

It’s free and features some great live music performances including Monday Night Pickers, Blanchard Singing Eagles, Tildon Tillman Band, MagnoliaBrown, Drag Strip Phantoms, and Wes Jeans. This year the Blanchard PTA is the recipient of the proceeds from the benefit and the funds will be used to purchase SMART Boards for Blanchard Elementary School. The SMART Board is an interactive, electronic whiteboard which enhances instruction and learning for our children. There will be children activities, food and drink vendors on site, and the Blanchard PTA will be selling a variety of food items as well. T-Shirts will also be available and they’ll have a raffle and live auction. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy great music, food and fun.
