The building at Fairfield and Pierremont in Shreveport has only been vacant for a couple of months, and soon it will be occupied by a new restaurant.  Well, it's new to the building, but certainly not new to barbecue lovers.

Consistently ranked as one of the top barbecue restaurants in the area by local and national publications, Real BBQ and More is famous for Harvey Clay’s “toothless” brisket.  According to the Shreveport Times, the eatery will move from its current building at 7828 Line Avenue into Blue Southern Comfort's former location sometime in July or August.  Harvey says that the new location has a bigger kitchen and will allow him to serve more people. The new site is also considered a safer location which means Real BBQ and More can stay open later.

If you're wondering about the next move for Blue Southern Comfort, according to their Facebook page, it will re-open in its old location on Louisiana Avenue as Flying Pig BBQ.
