Bossier Parish Announces Checkpoint for Friday, December 13th

If you get busted for drunk driving this weekend, you've got no excuse.

As always during the holiday season, local law enforcement is cracking down on DUI's. I can say from my perspective, working until 2-3AM every Friday and Saturday, I've seen a substantial increase in local police being out and about over the last few weeks.

Local police are paying extra attention and increasing effort to find and arrest drunk drivers, as part of their "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. The campaign is set to last from this weekend until New Years day.

Tonight, Friday the 13th, there will be a checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Bossier Parish. The checkpoint is set to begin at 10:00 PM and will last until around 1:00 AM.
