Bossier Parish Burn Ban Update

After the long, dry summer we had, we've finally started to see some rain!

And, as the rains come, the burn bans get lifted.

About a week ago, the Caddo Parish burn ban was lifted.

Now, we've gotten word that the Bossier Parish ban has also been lifted, effective immediately.

Fire District Chiefs continue to urge everyone to take extreme caution when burning. They also request no burning when it's windy outside.

Other burn bans being dropped around the Ark-La-Tex include Claiborne and DeSoto Parishes, and Panola county in Texas.

The state wide ban for Louisiana remains.
