Bossier Parish Community College and Shreve Memorial Library are partnering to bring classes to the main branch location of Shreve Memorial Library in downtown Shreveport, 424 Texas St.

Classes are open to all adults 18 years old and older who want to prepare for the HiSET® test, practice their English language skills, and/or increase their command of digital literacy skills. Classes are set to begin on February 15. Both registration and classes will be held at the Shreve Memorial Library location downtown.

Registration for classes will be held at 9:30 AM on February 4, 8, 10, and 11 at the Shreve Memorial Library-Main Branch. After classes begin on February 15, registration will take place every Thursday at 9:30 AM.

BPCC’s Assistant Director of College Transition Programs Justin Tison says BPCC is extremely excited about working with Shreve Memorial Library to bring some of our campus offerings to their branches. “This partnership allows BPCC to provide access to high-quality educational programming to our area's students in closer proximity to where they live, and to possibly remove the burden of transportation to and from our campus.
