Brawl In Louisiana Wendy’s Ends With Employees Being Arrested
Apparently, working in a North Louisiana fast food restaurant could very well lead to heightened tension between employees as once again those workers took things to the next level and had an all-out throw down!
You might recall several years ago when it was a customer and a cashier at Whataburger on Bert Kouns in Shreveport who decided to go at it.
Later that same year, it was customers who went absolutely nuts at Applebee's also on Bert Kouns in Shreveport.
And as recently as last year, tempers flared at a Whataburger in Natchitoches when employees gave customers in the drive through quite a show with their violent melee.
As If That Weren't Enough, Now There's Another One
And now, we get word from cbs42.com, that the summer heat has struck again with a pair of employees at the Wendy's in the 100 block of Thomas Road in West Monroe having been arrested after their altercation.
Authorities say that last Thursday, June 16, things got pretty "Frosty" at Wendy's when 18 year old Desiree Nicole Washington and co-worker Alaisha Mournae Mitchell, also 18, got into a heated argument that escalated to the point that Mitchell allegedly came around the front counter where the two engaged in a physical fight. In addition, Washington alleges that Mitchell took her phone and broke it when she threw it to the ground.
Both Washington and Mitchell were placed under arrest. It was then that officers searched Washington's backpack and discovered ecstasy pills.
Mitchell was arrested on a charge of Disturbing the Peace.
Washington was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Disturbing the Peace.
Both were then transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center.
