Meet Reeses, a twelve-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, available for adoption right now at Pet Savers Shreveport!

This dog has the happiest expression, but I'd be hard pressed to think of a Labrador Retriever mix of any kind who didn't! In my experience, they're happy, smiley dogs!

With today being the day after Easter, the name Reeses really stood out to me, then I read the story. I don't think I could work at a shelter, I'd have a hard time dealing with the public. Let's pull together and find Reeses a home. This pup has been through too much already not to live out his final years surrounded by love! Reeses is marked as being special needs on the website and may not be up to date on his shots.

I'm a happy pup with an interesting past because I first came to Pet Savers in 2005. I lived here for quite a while until my original owner said she lost me years ago and wanted me back after someone saw me on the website. Then she abandoned me again and I was returned by her daughter. I am a 12 year old Labrador Retriever mix who gets along with other dogs. I am extremely friendly and I just adore getting a good head scratch! I sure would love a home where I could live out my golden years with unlimited head scratches.
