Meet Truffles! Look at her, she just wants to kiss you all over and she's available for adoption at Lumberjack Rescue in Springhill, LA once she's spayed!

Truffles is described as being gentle and sweet! She's up to date on all her shots and is heartworm negative, they're just waiting on her to be spayed before they are able to adopt her out, but they're already taking adoption applications.

Here's what Lumberjack Rescue has to say about Truffles:

We believe Truffles is a one-year-old Chocolate Lab/Retreiver Mix. She has a beautiful coat and a bob Tail. She is full grown and approximately 35 pounds, so not a big dog. She was a Rescue from Bossier City Animal Control. She is up to date on her shots, heartworm negative, very gentle and sweet. All we have to do is have her spayed. We are now accepting applications for her. She loves to snuggle and frankly would make a wonderful dog for a family or as a companion for an older person. She is currently fostered with Justin Thomas, the founder of Lumberjack Rescue. He says if he didn't already have five dogs, he would keep her. If you are interested, please go to www.lumberjackrescue.com and click "How To Help" and "Adopt" to fill out the application and email it to the address specified. Adoption fee is $150. We make no money as this won't even cover the spay. We just want to get her in a loving home.

So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the Lumberjack Rescue's website to submit an application! You can also find out more by calling (318) 578-7800. The shelter is located at 257 Porterville Road, Sarepta, LA 71071, but Truffles is currently being fostered by Justin Thomas.
