Bruno Mars is my hump day hunk for several reasons. He's hot on several fronts. But his music tops that list of things that are just sexy to me. His song "When I Was Your Man" is the hottest song in music today. He has already had 5 number 1 hits, so this is one singer who is here to stay.

Mars has landed his first five number 1 songs faster than any man since Elvis Presley. Mars' first landed a song at the top of the chart back on February 13, 2010. Only the late Presley reached five top songs faster. The King did it in just under 3 years.

His real name is Peter Gene Hernandez. He was born October 8, 1985 and is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. He was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In Waikiki Beach, Mars' family performed a Las Vegas-style revue that included Motown hits, doo-wop melodies and celebrity impersonations. Growing up around entertainers, Mars began picking up musical instruments from early childhood. He moved to Los Angeles after he finished high school to pursue his music career.

Mars has won a Grammy, an American Music Award, and a Billboard Music Award.
