Burned Body Found In Shreveport

A body was discovered in a field on the corner of Wallace and Bernstein Avenues at 4 p.m. Tuesday evening. Shreveport Police Department arrived on the scene to find the body had been burned.

Shreveport Police Department also found a car that had been found burned near the same area Monday evening. Investigators still have no information on the vehicle. Police are investigating a possible connection between the vehicle and body.

The body found Tuesday evening was burned so badly, that it could not be determined whether the corpse was male or female. Police are asking around for any information that can be given on the possible identity of the body, or what could have happened.

Police may be in the area searching for clues until late in the evening. And, anyone with any information is being urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Caddo Sheriff's Office.
