Caddo Sheriff Arrests Man After K9 Drags Him From Teen Girl’s Home
According to a press release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Department, we've learned of the arrest of a man, who allegedly trespassed into his underaged ex-girlfriend's home, by Caddo Sheriff's deputies with the help of a K9 officer.
In the report from Lt. Matt Cowden, at approximately 8:21 am Sunday, February 13, Caddo Parish Deputies responded to a trespassing call in the 8000 block of Highway 1, and discovered 21 year-old Gavin Coon-Crowley of Bossier, had climbed through the window of a teenage girl whom he had previously threatened with bodily harm.
The report goes on to say that the deputies verbally challenged Coon-Crowley, but he refused to come out and surrender.
It was after extensive efforts that the deputies then deployed K9 Samos into the attic where Coon-Crowley was reportedly hiding. The K9 bit the suspect in the leg and both fell down onto the front porch.
Coon-Crowley was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. He will be booked into Caddo Correctional Center on a charge of unauthorized entry and resisting a deputy.
