Captain at Barksdale Named to Forbes’ ’30 Under 30′ List

The honor is given to those who are committed to a bright future for all.

A name like Forbes carries some serious weight and having your photo under it is a big deal. Each year, Forbes releases a list of movers and shakers who are making an impact on our future. These people are also all under the age of 30 and make up the exclusive 30 Under 30 list. The list includes law makers, healthcare providers, media professionals, celebrities and, as in the case of Julian Gluck, members of our armed forces.

Congratulations to Captain Julian Gluck on this high honor.

Serving at Barksdale Air Force Base, Captain Gluck is a member of the Under 30 list for 2020. He began his military career attending the United States Air Force Academy. He's a pilot who has flown air combat missions as a part of the campaign against ISIS. During his deployment, Gluck headed up a program that aimed at assisting the immigrant population of Qatar. In 2018, he was honored as the Air Force Times Airman of the Year for his commitment to excellence and service beyond the call of duty. Gluck has also been a nonprofit leader and policy advocate looking to bridge the civilian-military gap.

Currently, Captain Gluck serves as an executive officer to the largest bomber group in the Department of Defense.
