CBS Sports Anchor Adds Singer/Songwriter to His Resume

If you watch CBS Sports, you're more than likely familiar with Brent Stover. He's a sportscaster for CBS Sports Network in New York City, but he's also an aspiring country music star. I don't know about you, but when I think of country music, I don't necessarily think of a guy with shiny shoes and a sports jacket behind a sports desk delivering the latest scores and analysis. Hmmm...

Despite Brent's 'metro' appearance, he's a Kansas boy at heart. And that midwestern upbringing is probably the impetus behind his new country music singer/songwriter career.   In fact, he's been taking his talents all over New York City and the rest of the country.

One of the songs Stover is performing is his new release called InstaGirl Next Door. His debut single is fun, relatable, catchy, and just feels good. Plus, if you're on the dating scene, you'll recognize this for the modern-day love story it is. I don't know if this will be the song that launches him to country music fame, but it'll certainly get his foot in the door.
