A woman accused Chris Brown of pointing a gun at her on Tuesday (Aug. 30), and C. Breezy was later arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. According to TMZ, the accuser, Baylee Curran, may have sent a text message trying to set up the singer.

TMZ obtained a copy of the text, which Curran allegedly sent to an acquaintance named Safari at 2:57 a.m., shortly after she was kicked out of Brown's house. The text reads, "Hey safari don't you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I'm going to set his ass up. Lol come get me."

Safari then allegedly responded, "Really that's f*** up you ain't going to do that your wrong if you do." According to TMZ, the text is in possession of C. Breezy's lawyer, Mark Geragos. Geragos is currently trying to authenticate the text.

For additional context, Chris Brown was arrested on Tuesday (Aug. 30) after police searched his house after Curran's accusations. Curran was allegedly at Brown’s house around 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, when she was allegedly admiring a diamond cross necklace. Brown took notice, and words were allegedly exchanged.

Curran accused Brown of putting a gun to her head then ordering her to leave his home. People on social media have noticed that Curran is telling different versions of her story: in one version, she touched the jewelry, in another version, she didn't touch the necklace at all.

Brown is currently out of jail after posting $250,000 bail. Despite the chaos of the past few days, the Virginia native is still putting out new music - he just released the track "What Would You Do?" on his SoundCloud.
