Chrissy Teigen + John Legend Welcome Baby No. 2
Parenting for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend is now twice as nice — the A-list couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy, to the world, Teigen confirmed on Twitter.
"Somebody’s herrrrrrre!" Teigen tweeted very early Thursday (May 17) morning with a series of happy-faced and bottle-shaped emojis. And fans instantly showered the beloved Twitter-maven with congratulatory messages.
"you naming it Yanny or Laurel?" one follower responded, while another noted "Congrats! I kinda thought the Vatican would announce the son of Jesus' birth..."
Teigen first announced that she was pregnant with a son in January, and shared a photo of herself cradling her expanding baby bump on the Grammys red carpet. "mama and her baby boy," she wrote with the image below.
The baby boy wasn't expected until June, according to People, so Teigen and Legend have got a bit of an early gift on their hands. The boy joins Luna May, who's two-years-old, as the couple's newest bundle of joy.
And Teigen is likely relieved to be officially done with her pregnancy. Just a week ago, she sought a bit of sympathy from her social media followers, and said her pregnancy had finally become a little too much to bear.
“Happy pregnant Chrissy is gone. meet OVER IT Chrissy,” she wrote. “Wanna hold my boy let’s do thisssssss.”
"It feels worse for me because with IVF you know *so* early. I mean I knew I was pregnant at 11 days in. Crazy," she later added.
