The head coach of the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns recently spoke to Paul Finebaum on his show and he noted why he elected to stay with the Cajuns.

Coach Napier and the Ragin Cajuns are nationally ranked for the first time in modern history and his team is red hot.

But what kept Coach Napier in Louisiana? Why didn't he explore other offers outside of Louisiana at Lafayette?

The head coach of the Cajuns told the nationally syndicated radio host that the appreciation for his players and the city of Lafayette is what kept he and his family in South Louisiana.

Coach Napier didn't say anything about the great food here, but I suspect that too may have been a contributing factor in his decision to stay put in Lafayette---For now.

The Cajuns first home game for the 2020 season is September 26th at 11 a.m. against the Georgia Southern Eagles.
