What Is the #CondomChallenge and Why Is It a Thing?

Condoms -- the most fun you can have without another person showing up in your life nine months later.

We'd like to introduce the newest viral trend -- the #CondomChallenge, in which people fill condoms with water and drop it on their friends' heads as a way to promote safe sex. That's it. It's kind of silly, although some people are concerned about the danger it poses.

Oh, these young'uns and their crazy ideas (at least this condom challenge is much better than the condom challenge of 2013, which wreaked havoc on people's nasal cavities).

The fad began with this silly video and took off from there. There's even a Twitter account for the challenge:
