When I think of streaks what comes to mind is Cal Ripken Jr.’s 2,632 streak of consecutive games, New England Patriot’s 18 game win streak, even the Chicago Cubs 103-year streak of not winning the World Series (ouch), but there’s another streak that came to an end after an impressive run.

According to Insider, due to COVID-19 a 2,995-day streak of going to Disneyland ended for an Air Force Veteran.

Jeff Reitz who is a certified die hard Disney fan went to the California theme park every day for over eight years and it came to a screeching halt once the park closed temporally on March 13th amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Reitz had bittersweet feelings about his streak ending,

I'm still looking forward to coming back and having more fun, but it won't be that consecutive count anymore. On the negative side, I don't get to choose the end. But on the positive side, I didn't have to choose the end.

He still has plans on starting a new streak when the park reopens and has his sights on a new challenge which is to now break his streak that just ended and seek a Guinness World Record.

Good luck Jeff!
