This is the week that will divide our community for an entire year. I'm not talking about the Confederate Monument or the Police Chief in Shreveport or the election this fall. This is the week the New Orleans Saints host the Dallas Cowboys.

You can't go anywhere without hearing from fans of these teams talking about this game. Cowboys fans are very optimistic they will win in light of the fact the Saints will be without star QB Drew Brees. But Seattle fans were thinking the same thing and the Saints put on quite a performance to get a big win on the road.

The Cowboys beat the Saints 13-10 last year. In 2015, the Saints came away with the win in overtime.

The Cowboys and Saints have gone head-to-head 28 times. Dallas holds a 16-12 advantage over New Orleans.

The keys to the game will be the Saints defense. They came up big in the win over Seattle and that will be critical this weekend. The game is this Sunday night with the kickoff set for 7:20pm. You can hear the game on 101.7 and 710 KEEL.
