As if the headlines in 2020 weren't crazy enough a young woman who was declared dead opened her eyes at a funeral home right before she was supposed to be embalmed. Yes, her blood was about to be drained when she opened her eyes and instead of being put in a casket, she was quickly taken to a local hospital where she is in critical condition.

The 20-year-old woman was pronounced dead in her suburban Detroit home after the Southfield Fire Department and a medical crew were dispatched to help. According to ABC News when the paramedics arrived they quickly performed CPR and other life-reviving methods for over 30 minutes.

After seeing the condition of the patient and the medical readings the first responders determined that the 20-year-old was dead. The Southfield Fire Department claims that a local emergency department physician was the one who pronounced the woman dead. The physician did so after receiving the medical information provided by paramedics on the scene.

The 20-year-olds family has hired a lawyer and she has been identified as Timesha Beauchamp. There is still no word if the 20-year-olds health is improving, there is currently an internal investigation to make sure that everyone followed procedures.

It's no secret that the James H. Cole funeral home in Detroit employee who discovered the woman to be alive is probably going to need some counseling. The whole situation is extremely bizarre.
