Clearly we all do not spend enough time talking about Disney+ already. And so next month the streaming service’s annual “Disney+ Day” will return. Inaugurated last November, the day includes a variety of streaming premieres, special events at various Disney theme parks, and a bunch of announcements of upcoming films and shows all coming to Disney+.

This year’s iteration is just a few weeks away on September 8. Marvel fans will get the Disney+ premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, along with an Assembled special about the making of the movie. There will also be a new documentary on the recent Obi-Wan Kenobi series, the debut of Robert Zemeckis’ live-action Pinocchio based on the animated classic, and a bunch of additional premieres. The special events at Disney parks, according to a press release, include “Disney+ character sightings and cavalcades and more surprises at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort” and “blue dusted churros only available at Disneyland Resort this Disney+ Day and blue cocktails at select Downtown Disney District restaurants.”

Mmmmmm... blue dusted churros.

Each 30-minute episode features one young person, or “hero,” and their experience growing up.
