Divers Complete Sweep of Another Level of SEACOR Power Lift Boat
Much of Louisiana is locked into the search of the SEACOR powerboat that capsized last week in the Gulf of Mexico.
Several men who were on the boat when it capsized still have not been located and many are holding onto the hope that they may still be on the boat, where water hasn't breached.
As of Tuesday morning, the United Cajun Navy says on Facebook that levels 3, 2, and 1 have been swept by divers and that there still aren't signs of some that may still be on the boat, which could be good news.
The next area to be searched is the galley and some believe that if the men were able to get into this section of the boat, their chances of survival would have increased.
Like so many of you, we too hope that those who have not been located are found safe on the boat and we will continue to follow this developing story from south Louisiana.
The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for those on the water, but others have not given up. Search and rescue missions continue from both on the water and through the air.
