Don’t Let Gas Tank Get Below Quarter Tank Mark During Hard Freeze
Another friendly reminder as we await below freezing temperatures in Louisiana.
Ok, I'll be honest, I was not aware of this. Did you know that you should NOT let your vehicle get below the quarter tank gas mark during a hard freeze?
Apparently, if your vehicle is low on gas during a hard freeze, condensation can form in your gas tank, which is never good.
You want to keep your vehicle filled up so that condensation will not form, thus not causing any major issues during the freeze or thereafter.
This is something you may want to share with others on social media as we await a very hard freeze early next week.
Remember to protect your vehicle, pipes, pets and plants in the days ahead and STAY WARM!
