Double Amputee Makes Varsity Football Team [VIDEO]

Just before he turned two, Joe Martel had both legs amputated. That was almost thirteen years ago and, now, as a freshman at Beggs High School in Oklahoma, he plays football while wearing prosthetics. Martel plays on both the JV team and varsity and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association believes he’s the first double leg amputee to play high school football in the state.
