The Desoto Parish Sheriff's Office needs help locating Colby Zane Melton of Center, Texas. He is wanted on charges of Residential Contractor Fraud and Misapplication of Payments (Contractors)

In fact, Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information that leads to his arrest.

DPSO is reporting that Melton, 22, allegedly told DeSoto Parish clients that he is a licensed and insured contractor to work inside the State of Louisiana. However, during an investigation, Desoto Parish detectives contacted the Louisiana Licensing Board of Contractors and have confirmed he is not licensed as a contractor in Louisiana.

Melton is also accused of showing false pictures of his prior work to prospective clients, which have been found to have been taken from another source online.

At this time, investigators are seeking information from the public, or anyone who may have fallen victim to this suspects work.
