This week, the city of Lafayette went crazy when New Orleans Saints legendary quarterback Drew Brees toured his new Surge Entertainment Center by Drew Brees before it opens this weekend.

The Surge Entertainment Center by Drew Brees is a 43,000-square-foot play-land that features a trampoline park, arcade, bowling alley, batting cages, and restaurant. The Lafayette location is set to open on Saturday, November 23rd.

When The Advocate ran their story on the Lafayette location opening, they added a spicy little detail for fans in Shreveport. Here's a quote from the story:

"A similar project will open later in West Monroe, and the two have plans to open locations in Lake Charles and Shreveport."

That's right folks, one of these bad boys is planned for Shreveport. So whether you're a fan of batting cages, arcades, or bowling...or just a Drew Brees fan, you've got something to look forward to. Now, we don't know how long you're going to have to wait, because full details on the Shreveport plans haven't been provided at this time. But just knowing one is coming is good enough for us right now.
