The Caddo Commission is teaming up with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana to get food to those who need it in Caddo Parish. The drive through food distribution even is set for Saturday, March 27.

There are several locations where residents can pick up the food boxes.

Commission President Lyndon Johnson says

There have been multiple challenges in our community, such as COVID-19 and recent winter storms, that have made it difficult for many of our citizens to stay afloat. We believe that it is important to offer this distribution opportunity to provide some temporary relief to those in the community who may need help with food insecurity and access to food.

The Commission is chipping in $30,000 to pay for the food which is being put together by the folks at the Food Bank.
