Drug Task Force Makes 3 Arrests and Major Seizure

An operation conducted by the Caddo/Shreveport Narcotics Unit led to the arrests of three men and the seizure of several thousand dollars worth of drugs. The unit and Shreveport patrol officers conducted a search at a home located in the 2000 block of Perrin Street in Shreveport.

During the search, police seized over 340 grams of cocaine, 24 grams of crack cocaine, over 2,000 ecstasy pills, 1,049 grams of synthetic marijuana, and 110 liquid ounces of codeine syrup.

As a result of a search warrant executed at the residence, officers arrested 44-year-old Calvin Wright, 38-year-old Chadrick Thompson and 39-year-old Amos Carthen.
