Workers at all of the Shreveport Bossier Walmarts have been busy restocking shelves after the weekend EBT Food Stamp glitch. The problem was a little different in Shreveport Bossier from what happened in Springhill and Mansfield.

Customers were told there was a limit on purchases while the system was down, but that same customer could go back and forth to get the limit of groceries.

One witness who saw what was happening at the Shreve City store told us the limit was $90 on the SNAP EBT cards, but clerks told customers to separated their items into separate orders so they could continue to use the cards.

At the Pines Road Walmart, several sections are still bare, including some of the dairy.

I also could not find any grapes at all. The grapes were gone!

The meat bins were nearly empty. I asked one worker where everything was and she said "we're moving things around". OK, I guess that's the company line.

But you could only find a couple of bags left in many of the meat counters.

Workers were busy restocking, but from the way it looks at the West Shreveport store, it could take awhile.

The lunch meat section was nearly wiped clean. There were a few stragglers you could choose from, but not much. There were even some empty rice shelves. From the way it looks today, some restocking has happened, but there's still a long way to go.
