Ollie Tyler to Face Victoria Provenza in Runoff for Shreveport Mayor

It's been a long day of voting and campaigning and now it's time to tally the results.Ollie Tyler will face Victoria Provenza in December runoff for Mayor of Shreveport. Tyler pulled in nearly 44% of the vote to 25% for Provenza. Patrick Williams finished a close 3rd with 21% of the vote.

Several other  races are expected to wind up in runoffs. Turnout is expected to be between 45-50%. The key statewide race is the US Senate race, but the Mayor's race in Shreveport also sparked lots of attention.
