OK, I have two boys...they are teenagers now, but we ate out a lot when they were little.  They were ok.  I have seen way worse and now one restaurant owner does not want to see kid tantrums any more.  McDains Restaurant in Pennsylvania is banning kids.  Children 6 and under will no longer be allowed in the restaurant.  The owner says they are too big a bother for the other customers. Owner Mike Vuick says we shouldn't be blaming the kids though.  He says his problem is mostly with the parents.  He says “parents are gradually losing control and don't cooperate when he asks them to calm their children down."  By the way, he says the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Alabama is having a pretty big beauty contest this week. But the winner might have more silver hair than your average beauty contestant. The Ms. Alabama Nursing Home pageant wraps up today. 10 finalists are vying for the title. Contestants will have 15-minute interviews and then answer a question on stage.
