Stories from Friday June 17:
How many people does it take to change this light bulb? None. On June 18, the oldest-known working light bulb in the world will celebrate the 110th year it has burned bright. The bulb, which hangs idly about in a fire station in Livermore, California, holds the Guinness World Record. It's not clear how this particular bulb has been glowing since it was installed in 1901. Scientists from all over the country have examined the light bulb. The bulb was actually designed by Adolphe Chailet, who - get this - originally competed with Thomas Edison to make the best light bulb in town.

Chinese scientists have produced a herd of genetically modified cows that make milk that could substitute for human breast milk -- a possible alternative to formula in a nation rocked by tainted milk powder scandals. The cows produce milk that has 80% of the same nutritional properties as human breast milk.

A Kansas woman says she's gotten a message from God.  She says he's popping up on her leg.  Not the face of God or Jesus.....but the letters G-O-D are spelled out in her varicose veins.  She says it's a sign that her prayers are being answered.  She says she now feels like God he's going to use me and I'm excited."

OK, this story will make you ask: "How dumb can a man be".  A guy in England had a wart on his middle finger....way out on the tip of the finger.  It's been there for five years.  He tried fancy creams, but nothing worked.  So the other day he drank some beer, pulled out his shotgun and stretched out his left hand.  He then pointed the gun right at the wart and pulled the trigger.  Because he was only using one hand to shoot, he couldn't hold the gun steady and he blew off most of his finger.

Here's the stories from Wednesday June 15th:
Ben & Jerry's is coming out with a new ice cream flavor.....you have to hear this:

A North Carolina woman stole a home pregnancy test and three water guns from Walmart in Eden. She also made off with a can of cashews, a box of fruit snacks, a pack of water balloons and a box of granola bars. Her total take...just under 40 dollars.

Each weekday morning we bring you those bizarre stories that you will be telling your friends about. Here are the stories from Monday June 13 about the Bananas Foster disaster and grandma's remains left at Goodwill.

I am a huge bananas foster fan and so were four people in Palm Harbor Florida.  But they might think twice before ordering it again.  They just had dinner at Florida's Ozona Blue Grill and ordered the rich dessert to cap off the evening.  But the waiter used too much alcohol in setting it on fire and the dessert exploded.  Two of the diners had to be taken to the hospital.

And story number two comes to us from Michigan where State police are trying to find who left what appear to be a grandmother's cremated remains in an urn at a Goodwill store near Flint.  The store manager says "it's got to be the No. 1 or No. 2 weirdest item" the store has ever received. He says it appears to have come from a house that was cleaned out.  The box has the label "grandma's urn."  The cream-colored urn is about 10 inches tall and weighs about 10 pounds. It doesn't have any identifying marks or label.
