FUNNY: What NOT to do this 4th of July Weekend [VIDEO]

Be careful this 4th of July weekend and make sure you have a designated driver if you plan on drinking! Bossier City Police have already announced that they're teaming up with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission again this year to keep you safe this holiday weekend by keeping drunk drivers off the roads. It's all a part of the national 'Driver Sober or Get Pulled Over' campaign running Thursday, July 2, 2020, through Sunday, July 6, 2020. Just a note, if you think the Bossier City Police Department is going to be the one on the lookout for drunk drivers, you're living in a fool's paradise. You also need to make sure you're not driving your boat while intoxicated either.

Of course, there are a few other things that alcohol clearly doesn't mix with when it comes to the 4th of July. Let what happened to my ex-husband be a cautionary tale for you about the dangers of overindulging. Now, this is funny because he didn't get hurt, but this actually happened yesterday right here in Bossier City, LA several years ago. Yes, he actually made it onto America's Funniest Home Videos with this but didn't take home the $10,000 in prize money.
