Get Ready for Another Feel Good ’80s Weekend on KVKI!

Starting this Friday at 5 pm, we're going old school! Yep, we're going back to back, wall to wall '80s favorites celebrating the decade of big hair, shoulder pads, and Members Only jackets!

Yep, we're bringing back all of the '80s hits you love and we'll keep the totally awesome tunes rolling through Sunday, October 18th at 7 pm when Delilah comes on.

Are you ready to revisit the decade that brought us the Trapper Keeper, the Rubic's Cube, and tight rolled jeans? We sure are! In fact, we may break out the AquaNet just for fun to celebrate!

It's hard to believe, but the '80s were when home computers were invented and a movie star *gasp* aka Ronald Reagan was sworn in as the 40th President of the United States. Music and fashion were all the rage and we watched shows like Growing Pains, Roseanne, Cheers, and Facts of Life. We also fell in love with Mollie Ringwald, the Coreys (Haim and Feldman), and the '80s version of the 'Rat Pack,' including Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Andrew McCarthy, and Ally Sheedy.

In the '80s we played the Atari 2600, had a collection of scratch and sniff stickers, and sported a Swatch watch. We also wore leg warmers, multiple layers of sock and tight rolled our jeans. What were we thinking?!?!? We also idolized artists like Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Duran Duran!
