Carrie Underwood Co-Hosting Grammys 60th Anniversary Special With John Legend
Carrie Underwood is set to participate in a special anniversary event for the Grammy Awards. She and John Legend will co-host Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special, a retrospective look at the 59-year history of the Grammy Awards.
The CBS show will highlight some of the best moments in the award ceremony's history, showcasing videos and interviews from the Grammy vault and appearances by music's legendary stars such as Paul McCartney, Elton John, Celine Dion, U2, Bruce Springsteen and more. In addition, some of biggest names today will appear: Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran and Justin Timberlake are all booked for the show. Country music will also be represented, as Keith Urban and Underwood provide testimonials of their own experiences at the iconic awards show.
Fans will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the show, learning previously unknown tidbits and be able to relive the remarkable performances that have taken place over the years, such as when McCartney graced the stage with the Beatles' legendary album, Abbey Road.
Underwood has a gift for hosting, having just left the CMA Awards stage after a tenth year co-hosting with Brad Paisley. Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special airs on CBS at 9PM ET on Friday, Nov. 24.
